PIHCI Network Learning Series 2020-2021

The PIHCI Network Coordinating Office is presenting online seminars all through the year. The sessions are planned with different provincial or territorial PIHCI Networks acting as hosts. The format includes an expert presentation, followed by a panel discussion (including at least one patient partner), and an open Q & A.

Data Security 101

In this course, the data life cycle will be explained with the objectives of improving data management, ensure the protection of patients’ rights and privacy, and providing strategies to avoid potential security issues. The structure of the course follows the different steps of the data life cycle. This course was developed following a needs assessment study that was conducted with graduate students, researchers and the Réseau-1 Quebec. Learn more here.

PIHCI Network 2020 Summer Learning Series

The PIHCI Network Coordinating Office launched during summer of 2020 the first PIHCIN Summer Learning Series. Seven different sessions were given, each hosted by a different provincial or territorial PICHI Network. The format included an expert presentation, followed by a panel discussion (including at least one patient partner) with open Q & A. Topics may range from the current state of primary care research to early COVID-19 research results.
